Dr. Yu Haitao was born in April 1992. He obtained his Master's degree from the School of Pharmacy, Jinan University, in 2018. From 2018 to 2019, he worked as a research assistant in Professor Ye Keqiang’s team at Tongji University. In 2022, he earned his Ph.D. from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Professor Wang Jianzhi. In July 2022, he joined the Medical School of Jiangnan University as an associate professor. Since 2023, he has also been appointed as an associate researcher (in the field of Neurology) at the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University. Research FocusYu Haitao's research primarily focuses on early diagnosis and pathological mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease, with a special emphasis on epigenetics and autophagy. Over the past five years, he has published 26 SCI papers, including 16 as first author or corresponding author, with a total impact factor exceeding 133.4. His research has been published in prestigious journals such asAging Cell(2 papers),Autophagy, andSignal Transduction and Targeted Therapy. He has led projects funded by the Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists, central university business funds, and Jiangnan University's talent introduction startup funds. He has also participated in several national, provincial, and municipal-level projects related to neurodegenerative diseases. His research achievements include two national patents in Alzheimer's disease diagnostics. Honors and AchievementsYu Haitao has been awarded the "Qiu Fazu Scholarship" (the highest honor at Tongji Medical College) and the Innovation Achievement Award at Jinan University.
